More information can be found at https://academy.dermysk.com/
In the new beginner class, students will learn about the med spa industry, the required health and safety regulations, and important information about working in a clinic or running a home business. Students will also learn up to a dozen popular med spa techniques and will get real-world experience with each procedure.
The Dermysk Academy uses a unique course structure optimized to allow each student to work at their own pace and at their convenience. While students may be able to complete the entire course in as little as 8 weeks, there is no time limit for completion of the training, and students can take as long as they require to complete the online lessons.
Each course begins with online training, which can be completed from anywhere with an internet connection, at any time of day. After completing 7 online modules, students will be able to schedule their practical training at any Dermysk Academy location across Canada.
During the practical training, students will be required to attend daily lessons at the Dermysk Academy, where they will work with a variety of aesthetician tools, techniques, and clients. Students will be able to work on both simulated and real clients to practice procedures such as micro-blading, derma-planing, and laser hair removal.
After graduation from the Beginner course, students will be fully certified to work in a local clinic or to open their own home med spa business. All students will also be enrolled in the Dermysk Academy’s after-graduate support program, which helps to build industry connections and highlights career advancement opportunities for aestheticians.
Graduates may also return at any time to enroll in the Advanced course, which includes training in complex techniques not available at many clinics. In this course, students will learn more about individualized business strategies, as well as Body Sculpting, stem cell treatments, and laser gynecology.
